everyone here is so high class. not everyone, but i've seen more 'to do' people than i can ever remember.
woohoo! finally got some drawer space to put clothes/junk in.
my wife has been living this jet set life now for almost a week. today is her b-day and i wish i could skip out on all of this and just be with her today. had to get off the phone with her just now because any second she could be switching cars. i guess the library biz is a little more exciting than i thought it was. and we did her b-day gifts before i left, so i wasn't gonna plan anything big for when it actually came. and since kerri's basket still hasn't arrived, hopefully it will be there by the time kim gets back, making a perfect birthday gift, even though it was supposed to be a perfect goodbye gift. M to arlington.
looks like its gonna rain. i'm surrounded by retirees.
JFK, RFK, pilot of 9/11 plane, tomb of the unknowns, 3rd infantry wwii, challenger, uss maine, glenn miller, pres and cj taft.
there are more memorials here than actual gravesites. memorial for everything/one. i'm on the tour right now, but i think i'm gonna have to come back another day and just walk the trails. get a map with everything listed. now its hot as hell here. some lady's cell went off in the middle of everything at the tomb of the unknown. i'm so embarrassed for her.
stopped off at the pentagon and not much is going on there. even if cameras were allowed, the building is too big for anything other than a wall.
at the san antonio bar & grill. basically la estrellita + applebees. got some [illegible] chicken burrito. i'll give it a 7 out of 10. really good atmosphere. not too crazy, but cool.
found the crystal city water park. can't go in it, but still cool. had king street blues with rye but don't really remember what i had.
i live two lives. one is hustle and bustle, surrounded by millions of people. the other is very lonely. and i mean there is a substantial time when i'm very alone. these aren't complaints, just my new life. and there is plenty good things about each way of life. plenty bad too i must say.
